Quote of the Day

"Humor is the great thing, the saving thing. The minute it crops up, all our irritations and resentments slip away, and a sunny spirit takes their place."

Glückliches Erntedankfest!

I will officially be on vacation in about 28 minutes. The backpack is packed in and my trunk. My lunch order has been placed and pretty soon, we will be enroute to JFK to fight the masses and be strip searched. Always a good start to vacation.

Although I am not looking forward to 11 hours of bad in flight entertainment (particularly since I just accidentally erased all of the 828 songs on my iPod this morning) I am really excited to get a much needed vacation. I mean, I haven't left the country in 9 months. Completely unacceptable!

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Make sure to binge eat for me. Although I would prefer eating Gail B's famous stuffing over sauerkraut, we all need to sacrifice some things once in awhile.

Ahoy!
**I actually think this mean hello in Czech but I wasn't in charge of learning the language this time.

Who’s that Guy?

This weekend, Eboogie and I embarked on a road trip to visit Mato in order to do some much need shopping for our upcoming European Vacation. The three of us were sitting around and the topic of conversation turned to, what else…the blog.

We were discussing how of the 4 loyal readers I am aware of, there is one who has never had the pleasure of having a whole post dedicated specifically to them. So Anonymous, this one is for you. Your loyalty and comments have made you an extended part of the blog family. But as we were discussing you, we realized something. You don’t have a real name. Who is Anonymous?

I have only actually met Mr. Anonymous once when he provided me with tickets to see my future husband Mr. Buble (thanks for that by the way!) However, we all know so very little about him. Maybe he is very shy and that is why he refuses to take a moniker? Or perhaps he likes the ambiguity of remaining anonymous so as to keep people guessing?

Whatever the reason, we are happy to have you as part of the blog circle but would like to extend the following challenge...name thyself Mr. Anonymous!

P.S. - If anyone other then Eboogie or Pooh can identify what I am referencing in the blog title, I will be suitably impressed and will give you a cookie.
